Boomi, a data activation company for AI, has expanded its partnership with Jade Global to help manufacturers run AI agents in production with tighter governance. Jade Global, a Boomi Certified Platinum Implementation and Managed Services Partner, will deliver manufacturing-specific solutions on the Boomi Enterprise Platform. Manufacturers' data sits across ERP, MES, PLM, quality, warehouse, and supplier EDI systems, often on legacy infrastructure. Agents acting on that data without an audit trail add risk, and many projects stall between pilot and production. Boomi supplies the data foundation and its Agent Control Plane, which enforces policy and logs every agent action. Higher-risk actions, such as changing a purchase order, can require human approval. Jade Global adds its Industry 4.0 Smart Manufacturing Framework. The offering is available now through Jade Global.
Boomi recognised as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for API Management. Boomi | Published 3 Oct 2026 COMPANY NEWS: Boomi's recognition as a Leader in API management reflects its vision and execution Boomi, the data activation company for AI, today announced it has been recognised as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant(TM) for API Management. We believe the recognition reflects Boomi's sustained investment in Boomi API Management as the governance layer enterprises use to turn fragmented APIs into a trusted foundation for AI. Our key takeaways. * Boomi has been recognised as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for API Management. A complimentary copy of the report is available here. * Boomi is also a Leader in the Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for Integration Platform as a Service, where it has been named a Leader 12 consecutive times. * Boomi API Management gives organisations one control plane for the full API lifecycle, with automatic discovery of APIs across distributed gateways - including shadow and zombie APIs - to create a single trusted inventory. * Boomi API Management curates and exposes integrations and APIs as governed, MCP-enabled tools, centralising every server in one vendor-agnostic registry so AI agents can consume enterprise systems safely. "APIs are how AI actually reaches the systems that run a business, and that makes API management the difference between an AI pilot and an AI program," said Steve Lucas, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Boomi. "We are proud to be recognised as a Leader in API management. Enterprises are no longer treating the API layer and the agent layer as separate problems, and they should not have to buy them separately either. Our customers govern both in one place, on one platform." A Leader in vision and execution. Boomi API Management provides full lifecycle management of an organisation's APIs, with natural language design, no-code build, robust policy enforcement for security and traffic control, and flexible deployment across Boomi, cloud, and third-party gateways. Security and quality scoring, API curation and productisation, and real-time business analytics keep that inventory governed as it grows. Boomi believes its position in this year's report reflects a shift in how enterprises buy: not standalone gateways, but universal governance across every gateway and provider, with the executive-level observability leaders need to make smarter API investment decisions. Fueling agentic workflows. As organisations adopt AI agents, governed APIs become the mechanism by which those agents reach enterprise systems. Because Boomi API Management sits within the Boomi Enterprise Platform alongside Boomi Agentstudio, Boomi Data Hub, and Boomi Data Integration, enterprises can build, manage, and govern AI agents on the same platform that powers the APIs, integrations, and data those agents depend on. Boomi named leader in Forrester adaptive orchestration. Tue, 29th Sep 2026 (Today) Boomi has been named a Leader in Forrester's Adaptive Process Orchestration Software evaluation and received the highest score in the strategy category among 13 providers. The assessment placed Boomi among the four companies designated as Leaders in the study, which examined software used to adapt and manage automated processes as business demands change. Forrester said Boomi's "above-par roadmap" was shaped by an internal innovation process informed by partner input and customer feedback. It also said recent investment had focused on client data sovereignty and control in markets where those issues carry particular weight. The analyst firm also highlighted Boomi's vendor-neutral control plane for agentic automation, saying it had helped the company expand into the process automation market. It linked that view to acquisitions including Lunar.dev, an AI gateway platform. Assessment criteria In the evaluation, Boomi received the highest possible scores in six areas: design environment, adaptivity architecture, innovation, roadmap, adoption, and operational observability, control, and governance. That contributed to the top score in the broader strategy category. Forrester also wrote that "Boomi has all the required features to adapt automated processes to demand changes rapidly and comprehensively, including LLM swapping and fine-grain data access changes." The finding reflects growing demand for tools that can adjust workflows without extensive redevelopment, particularly as businesses test how to govern artificial intelligence agents, application integrations, and data access policies in the same environment. Boomi said its platform combines agent design and governance, API and MCP management, integration and automation, and data management. It positions that structure as a way for organisations to coordinate processes across applications, data, APIs, and AI agents while retaining choice over vendors and models. Forrester's review also highlighted the company's low-code development environment, citing features including DevOps integration, embedded context management, audit logging, and unified monitoring. Market context The ranking comes as technology suppliers try to define a market around adaptive and agentic process orchestration, where companies are expected not only to automate tasks but also to revise and govern those processes as conditions shift. In that market, product strategy and governance features are emerging as key points of competition alongside development tools. Data sovereignty has also become a more prominent buying consideration, especially for multinational organisations operating in jurisdictions with stricter rules on where information is stored and processed. Forrester's reference to sovereignty suggests that control over data location and access is becoming more central to how orchestration platforms are judged. Boomi has been expanding its message beyond integration software into broader automation and AI management. It says its platform is intended to provide a foundation for what it calls the "agentic enterprise", a term increasingly used by software vendors to describe organisations deploying AI agents across business processes. The mention of Lunar.dev shows how acquisitions are being used to fill gaps in AI oversight and traffic management. AI gateway software has drawn attention as businesses seek ways to monitor model use, enforce policy, and route requests across different systems. Company response Ed Macosky, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Boomi, commented on the result. "We're honored to be named a Leader in this new evaluation and proud to have received the highest score in the strategy category," Macosky said. He added: "We believe this recognition reflects our continued investment in an open, vendor-neutral platform that helps enterprises orchestrate agentic AI and automation with the control, visibility, and trust required for production." Boomi said it serves more than 30,000 customers and works with more than 800 partners. Those figures underline the scale at which it is trying to compete as software vendors seek a larger share of spending on AI governance, workflow automation, and integration. The evaluation's emphasis on observability, control, and governance also points to the practical concerns shaping adoption. Forrester said Boomi's platform provides a rich low-code development environment with above-par features including DevOps integration, embedded context management, audit logging, and unified monitoring.
