Vice President of Engineering @ TrueRank

Job Duties:

• Lead a team of Software/Data/DevOps Engineers;

• Establish SEO strategies and lead the team through implementation of technical SEO improvements;

• Oversee the design of the data infrastructure build through AWS EMR;

• Design and implement system architecture, including architectural diagrams, API schemas and business flow diagrams;

• Conduct research on the optimal solutions for mathematical formulas, web2, data and open-source implementation to aid product growth and development;

• Lead/Design/Engineer ML models for data enrichment and/or normalization;

• Collaborate with executive and product teams to scope products, features, timelines and staffing;

• Come up with growth hack solutions for the company to experiment with different go to market solutions;

• Establish external relationships with contractors and devshops, find products to acquire that will aid in mid-long-term growth;

• Translate user requirements and designs into scalable architecture;

• Define processes and procedures for high performance product delivery;

• Set short-term and long-term goals and ensure they are completed in a timely manner;

• Manage and lead the process of sourcing, attracting and evaluating new talent.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in product engineering;

• At least 5 years of experience with hands-on, full-stack engineering leadership;

• At least 5 years of extensive experience hiring, mentoring, training, coaching and retaining the talent through various initiatives such as 1-1 sessions, 360 surveys, DORA metrics;

• Experience scaling engineering teams between 5+ to 20+ engineers of various disciplines, including DevOps, Data, Software, QA;

• At least 2 years of experience with Node.js;

• At least 4 years of experience with React.js;

• Working knowledge of Nest.js, Next.js and TypeORM;

• Good hands-on experience with Python;

• Good understanding of Parquet data format, EMR/Apache Spark jobs and Airflow DAGs;

• Working experience with DevOps tools such as: Terraform, Terragrunt, AWS (SES, SQS, SNS, MWAA, RDS, ElasticCache, OpenSearch), Kubernetes, Helm, kubectl, awscli;

• Experience with SaaS solutions and HRTech industry for our current product is a plus;

• Working knowledge of ML algorithms and python libraries such as Scikit, Numpy, Pandas is preferred;

• Previous experience with Stripe, Intercom, GTM, Google Analytics, Sentry, Datadog, Ahrefs, Semrush integrations and usage is a plus.
