Requirements
  • 6+ years managing a GSOC that incorporates operators and analysts
  • You have additional experience in corporate security, intelligence analysis, public sector, protective intelligence, or security systems
  • Ability to travel at least 5% of the time
  • Ability to partner with the legal and compliance team to ensure STAR Center meets Vast’s ITAR/EAR export requirements
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI), Physical Security Professional (PSP), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI), a plus
Responsibilities
  • Build a world-class (or an out of this world-class) STAR Center, including global security operations, employee travel, emergency response, threat assessments, CCTV monitoring, access control monitoring, and global incident response.
  • Coordinate with Mission Control during crewed space flight.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our physical security technology, with the goal of safeguarding our employees, buildings, space stations, and more.
  • Your team will manage and monitor all-source information and global crises to proactively identify and assess threats that could impact our business.
  • Handle dispatch, response to alarms, intrusion alerts, calls, internal communication, and emails from or related to our employees and properties.
  • Create STAR Center’s playbook and standard operating procedures for operator and analyst roles, responsibilities, actions, SLAs, and incident response.
  • Collect and analyze open source information, news, threat feeds, deep/dark web searches, and other available data to inform the business and mitigate risk.
  • Work with security leadership to build and maintain relationships with local and federal law enforcement partners.
  • Serve as the central point of monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting business risks and threats that may affect Vast.
  • Lead a data driven and training focused center. Maintain SLAs, quarterly business reviews, and predetermined key performance indicators.
  • Support physical threat monitoring, response, and investigation.
  • After designing and crafting STAR Center’s playbook, you will be responsible for the interviewing, hiring, and staffing of this new Vast STAR Center.
  • You will work cross functionally within the Security team, and with partner teams to protect events, offices, while supporting our next generation business objectives.
  • Your team will manage global access control and monitor the state of our security technology deployed across our global offices.
