Compass deploys AI assistant to 83,000 real estate agents with executive-led adoption push

Compass, a real-estate brokerage, launched its AI Assistant to 83,000 agents in July, with more than 10,000 watching a live demo. Within weeks, about 15,000 agents generated over 97,000 conversations using the tool. The platform connects 100 different real estate tools and handles administrative tasks, prospecting, and voice-enabled note-taking. Senior leadership, including CEO Robert Reffkin, promoted adoption through office visits and staff training. Nine out of ten agents across the industry report using or planning to use AI, according to the National Association of Realtors. However, with the median agent age at 57, adoption presents challenges. President of Growth Rory Golod acknowledged adoption requires significant effort but believes AI cannot replace agents' judgment and relationships. The tool evolved from earlier content-focused AI to a more proactive assistant.

Compass unveils 'See It First(TM)' in its biggest Compass.com redesign in a decade, giving buyers early access to more homes.

Compass unveils 'See It First(TM)' in its biggest Compass.com redesign in a decade, giving buyers early access to more homes. Compass is backing the elevated consumer search experience with a multimillion-dollar advertising campaign to reach homebuyers nationwide. NEW YORK, NY - September 22, 2026 - Compass introduces 'See It First(TM)' as part of the biggest redesign of Compass.com in a decade, giving consumers earlier access to more homes. By bringing together thousands of homes across every stage of marketing from Compass International Holdings' nine powerhouse brands in one destination, See It First(TM) gives buyers greater selection and an elevated search experience while empowering sellers to gauge demand and build buyer interest without accruing public days on market or public price changes. "With See It First(TM), we're giving consumers the opportunity to discover more homes earlier," said Julie Keef, Compass Head of Consumer Search. "By bringing more homes and local expertise together in one place, we're making Compass.com an even more valuable destination for buyers to start and continue their home search." Every element of Compass.com has been redesigned to make it easier for more buyers to discover more homes, earlier, with See It First(TM) integrated throughout the search experience. The redesigned homepage, search experience, and listing pages, along with new See It First(TM) badges and a dedicated landing page, help all buyers identify and explore homes earlier. Why See It First(TM): * All buyers can discover more homes. See It First(TM) brings more homes together in one place, giving all buyers more opportunities to find the right home on Compass.com. Any buyer or buyer's agent, regardless of brokerage affiliation, can learn more about any home represented by a real estate professional affiliated with any of the nine Compass International Holdings brands. Buyers do not need to work with a Compass real estate professional to view these listings. * Sellers can test the market with confidence. See It First(TM) empowers homeowners to test pricing and build buyer demand through premium placement in search results, without accruing days on market or public price drops. Sellers can then use those insights to adjust their pricing and marketing strategy. For sellers who want to sell but are not fully committed, or who want to put their home on the market off-season, See It First(TM) gives them the opportunity to test the market first, without risk. * Real estate professionals have more ways to compete for clients and deliver value. Real estate professionals compete every day to win clients, and See It First(TM) gives them more ways to deliver value and choice to prospective clients. Because the listing agent remains front and center, with their name, photo, and brokerage prominently displayed on every home they represent, buyers and their brokers can get answers directly from the real estate professional who knows the home best, while sellers know the interest their home generates is going directly to the agent they chose to represent them. Traffic to Compass.com grew 56% year-over-year in August 2026, as more consumers turned to the platform to search for their next home. Building on that momentum, Compass is making a multimillion-dollar investment in a nationwide advertising campaign to introduce See It First(TM) and the elevated consumer search experience on Compass.com. Together, the redesign and campaign strengthen Compass.com as a destination where consumers can discover more homes earlier. The See It First(TM) launch comes as recent research highlights the value of strategic marketing. An analysis of Compass-sold homes nationwide during the 12-month period ending March 31, 2026, found that homes strategically marketed sold faster.
