- Completed training as a registered nurse, operating room technical assistant, medical-technical assistant for functional diagnostics, or medical assistant.
- Ideally, experience in internal medicine, preferably in a cardiac catheterization laboratory, including assisting physicians with diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures and interventions, or experience in cardiology emergency or intensive care medicine.
- Ability to work independently and reliably.
- Willingness to perform circulating, instrumenting, and documentation duties and participate in a 24-hour on-call service.
- Compliance with applicable proof requirements under the German Infection Protection Act as a condition of employment.
- Perform catheter diagnostics, including assessment of endothelial dysfunction, and myocardial biopsies.
- Support complex coronary interventions, including balloon dilation, stent implantation, drug-eluting stents, rotational atherectomy, pressure-wire measurements, and intravascular ultrasound.
- Perform catheter diagnostics for heart valve defects and balloon dilation of stenotic heart valves.
- Support interventional treatment of septal defects and left atrial appendage closures.
- Support transfemoral and transapical aortic valve replacement in collaboration with cardiac and vascular surgery.
- Treat inoperable patients with mitral and tricuspid valve insufficiencies using MitraClip and TriClip.
- Implant pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy systems, and percutaneous circulatory support systems.
- Perform electrophysiological examinations.
- Perform angiological diagnostics and interventions.
- Experience in internal medicine, especially cardiac catheterization laboratory experience.
- Experience assisting physicians with diagnostic cardiac catheterization examinations and interventions.
- Experience in cardiology emergency medicine or intensive care medicine.
