Neuronetics develops non-invasive brain-stimulation devices for psychiatric conditions, led by the NeuroStar Advanced Therapy system that uses transcranial magnetic stimulation to modulate mood-related brain activity. The NeuroStar device delivers targeted magnetic pulses in outpatient sessions that require no anesthesia and can last from a few minutes to about 30 minutes. The company differentiates itself with FDA clearances for OCD and adolescent MDD, a dual revenue model from device sales/leases and its own network of treatment centers, plus clinician-support programs. Its goal is to broaden neuromodulation use, grow its installed base and approvals, and scale device sales and clinic operations to treat more patients.

Neuronetics shifts to hybrid sales model, posts 17% Greenbrook growth amid $5M cost cuts

Neuronetics has shifted to a hybrid go-to-market model for its NeuroStar system, offering capital purchase and lease-finance options alongside its traditional treatment session model. The company reported 17% year-over-year growth at Greenbrook clinics and a 10% utilisation increase in active NeuroStar accounts. The firm implemented leadership restructuring to flatten its organisation and reduce executive headcount, aiming to accelerate profitability. It also formed a strategic collaboration with ANT Neuro to integrate neuronavigation technology into the NeuroStar platform. Neuronetics anticipates "choppier" revenue in the second half of 2026 due to the commercial model shift. The company reduced operating expense guidance by $5 million and appointed a new CFO focused on achieving sustained profitability and positive cash flow.

Neuronetics partners with ANT Neuro to integrate neuronavigation into NeuroStar TMS treatment

Neuronetics, maker of NeuroStar Advanced Therapy, has announced a strategic partnership with ANT Neuro to integrate neuronavigation technology into its transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatment platform. The collaboration will offer ANT Neuro's FDA-cleared visor2 neuronavigation system alongside NeuroStar TMS, enabling real-time spatial tracking and 3D visualisation for treatment delivery. The integration aims to enhance treatment personalisation and consistency by combining NeuroStar's contact sensing technology with ANT Neuro's brain mapping capabilities. The partnership addresses growing provider demand for technologies supporting treatment visualisation and workflow integration. Neuronetics, which holds the largest installed base of TMS systems in the US, views the collaboration as part of its continued investment in platform capabilities as the TMS market evolves.

Neuronetics Q1: NeuroStar shipments up 10%, clinic revenue grows 15% despite TMS volume dip

Neuronetics reported first-quarter 2026 results largely in line with expectations, balancing growth in its Greenbrook clinic business with a slight decline in overall NeuroStar revenue. New CEO Dan Reuvers, formerly of Tactile Medical, led his first earnings call after joining the company. NeuroStar shipped 34 systems in the quarter, up 10% year-over-year. The company is piloting expanded commercial models to broaden market reach, with early feedback described as positive. Greenbrook clinic revenue grew 15%, driven by SPRAVATO strength and buy-and-bill expansion, though TMS volumes declined modestly due partly to weather disruptions. CFO Steven Pfanstiel departed earlier this month, and the company has begun searching for a successor. Reuvers emphasised opportunities in workflow optimisation and revenue cycle management at Greenbrook clinics.

Neuronetics target slashed by $4 as analysts rework valuation assumptions

Neuronetics has seen analysts revise their models, with Canaccord maintaining a fair value of $4.33 whilst recently cutting its price target by $4. The reduction suggests concerns about current execution and growth prospects not aligning with earlier expectations. The company announced Dan Reuvers as its new chief executive officer, effective 23 March 2026, replacing retiring CEO Keith Sullivan. Reuvers brings extensive medical technology leadership experience from roles at Tactile Medical, Integra LifeSciences and other firms. Neuronetics issued guidance projecting Q1 2025 worldwide revenue of $33 million to $35 million and full-year 2026 revenue of $160 million to $166 million, with gross margins between 47% and 49%. Canaccord's continued coverage indicates ongoing analyst interest in the stock's prospects.

Neuronetics posts positive Q4 operating cash flow, appoints new CEO and guides for $160M–166M 2026 revenue

Neuronetics has raised $120 million in a Series C round led by Ribbit Capital, valuing the pre-revenue startup at $1.45 billion. The company is developing AI systems focused on eliminating hallucinations through advanced mathematical reasoning. Founded in 2023 by Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev, Harmonic's flagship model Aristotle uses formal reasoning, outputting logic in the Lean4 programming language to ensure verifiable accuracy. The model achieved top performance at the International Mathematical Olympiad in July. The funding, which includes participation from Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins and new backer Emerson Collective, brings total capital raised to $295 million across three rounds in 14 months. Harmonic currently offers Aristotle via a free API and plans to target safety-critical industries including aerospace and finance.
