Responsibilities

  • Lead indication prioritization and sequencing, weighing scientific rationale, epidemiology, competitive intensity, feasibility, market access, and commercial attractiveness.

  • Maintain a forward-looking view of competitors, mechanisms, clinical programs, and emerging scientific trends relevant to the company’s portfolio.
  • Identify key intelligence questions and competitive scenarios, distinguishing signal from noise and flagging implications for company programs.
  • Deliver concise news-flow updates and landscape syntheses to program teams and leadership, interpreting what changed, why it matters, and what should follow.
  • Attend key medical and scientific meetings to capture competitive data, synthesize in real time, and produce post-congress readouts.
  • Use AI-enabled intelligence tools to accelerate monitoring, triage, and synthesis while maintaining rigorous source validation and traceability.
  • Help improve competitive intelligence processes, templates, taxonomies, and AI-supported workflows to deliver insights faster with less manual effort.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic partner to program teams and functional leaders, bringing an external market and competitor lens into development decisions.
  • Translate complex scientific, clinical, and financial information into concise executive narratives and presentations.
  • Frame ambiguous business questions, define the analytical approach, and drive projects to clear decisions.
  • Contribute to corporate strategy priorities, including portfolio strategy, long-range planning, and investor analyses, as business needs evolve.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong preference for experience at a boutique life-sciences strategy consultancy, with hands-on responsibility for new product planning, indication strategy, market opportunity assessment, competitive intelligence, forecasting, and/or portfolio strategy engagements.

About the Company

Kymera Therapeutics

Biotech company engineering targeted protein degraders

Kymera Therapeutics develops therapies that remove disease-causing proteins using targeted protein degradation. The company’s Pegasus Platform helps identify which proteins to degrade and then uses molecules that recruit the cell’s waste machinery to break down those proteins, aiming to treat cancers and immune diseases. This approach can create multiple drug candidates across different diseases. Kymera’s products are advanced through collaborations, most notably with Sanofi, which supports research, licensing, and milestone-based payments. Unlike traditional drugs that inhibit a protein’s function, Kymera’s strategy eliminates the protein itself, potentially offering new treatment options for patients. The company’s goal is to deliver new, effective medicines by degrading harmful proteins, expanding options in the biopharmaceutical market and addressing unmet medical needs.
