Project Manager-Rail/ Transport

Job Description

• Lead the design and delivery of major infrastructure projects.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the client, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery meets scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality requirements.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, public agencies, and stakeholders.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams to drive collaboration and performance.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of specialist sub-consultants.
• Provide direction on scheme development and delivery strategies.
•  Monitor project performance.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with Engineers Ireland or equivalent recognised professional body.
• NEC4 accreditation
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in major civil engineering, rail (desirable) or transport infrastructure.
• Experience in the management of NEC forms of contract
• Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability in client and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on delivering high levels of satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
• Strong technical understanding of road design, traffic management, public transport, and/or active travel.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
