Hasbro reveals new The Legend Of Zelda Master Sword that you can get in real life.

Hasbro reveals new The Legend Of Zelda Master Sword that you can get in real life. Hasbro's Legend of Zelda Electronic Master Sword opens for pre-orders at $42.99. The sword will begin shipping spring 2027. Here is how you can get your hands on the legendary blade. By GBest - Sep 08, 2026 08:09 PM EST Filed Under: Zelda Hasbro is selling a 27-inch Master Sword built to look like the blade from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Pre-orders open Wednesday, September 9 at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET on Hasbro Pulse, Walmart, Amazon, and participating fan shops. Street price is $42.99. The toy ships spring 2027. AAA batteries are in the box. Ages 4 and up. Nintendo licensed the sculpt of the blade. The electronic roleplay sword plays more than 15 sounds. Motion and impact trigger swipes and clashes. Pick it up or set it down by the hilt and you get the classic equip and unequip cues. Hasbro also lists iconic game music in the mix. It is a kids' prop first: living-room Hyrule, costume add-on, shelf piece next to other Hasbro Zelda product. The company is also lining up figures of Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf as part of the same anniversary merch wave. This is being announced right at the same time as the 40th anniversary Direct, not a random toy drop. Nintendo used that showcase to stack 2026 and 2027 Zelda product: an Ocarina of Time remake conversation, a Zelda-themed Switch 2, amiibo, playable ocarinas, a 1,750-piece LEGO Link and Epona set for spring 2027, Huzzle's Master Sword puzzle, and this Hasbro blade. The first U.S. Zelda game shipped in 1987. The Master Sword is still the prop every kid already knows how to hold. GameFragger also covered some new details about the live action The Legend Of Zelda movie here. Hasbro did not pick the Breath of the Wild rusted look. Tears of the Kingdom's Master Sword is the one that breaks in the opening, gets rebuilt over a long stretch of story time, and comes back lodged in the Light Dragon's head. In the game you need two full stamina wheels to pull it. After that it still runs out of energy and sits on a cooldown like other champion gear. Twenty-seven inches is the length of the blade. Official deco, included batteries, motion sensors. No claim that it fuses with a zonai device or fires a skyward beam. No statement that it is screen-accurate down to the decay chips. Hasbro calls it a collectible, a cosplay accessory, and a gift. Look for other Zelda items from the same line if you want a collector shelf that matches. Pre-order windows on Pulse and big-box usually sell through the first allocation on anniversary toys. Spring 2027 is a long wait after a September 9 checkout. The Real Ghostbusters Ecto Glow Glow Copter | HASBRO UNBOXING.

The Real Ghostbusters Ecto Glow Glow Copter | HASBRO UNBOXING. It's time yet again to take a look at the latest from Hasbro, in particular its seemingly ever-growing Kenner Classics assortment, as today Ghostbusters News is unboxing The Real Ghostbusters Ecto-Glow Glow Copter. Originally planned for release in 1991 but never making it to retail as The Real Ghostbusters toyline ended that same year, Hasbro's new Glow Copter is based on the canceled Kenner vehicle, finally bringing the concept to collectors more than three decades later. First made available last month during San Diego Comic-Con, the set also gives fans a retro release of Ecto-Glow Heroes Louis Tully, who was part of the classic toyline's final wave alongside Peter, Ray, Winston, and Egon, all four of whom Hasbro similarly recreated with last year's Ecto-Glow Collector's Set. Discover more TV Shows & Programs Ghostbusters merchandise Once out of the packaging, the Glow Copter features several play features, including a spinning rotor and ghost bomb accessory. Louis comes equipped with his trusty Proton Pack and a glow-in-the-dark mask accessory, along with a uniquely designed proton stream made to perfectly entangle the pesky pack-in ghost, Meanie Weenie. For those looking to add the Glow Copter to their own collection, it is currently in stock through Hasbro Pulse for $67.99 [BUY NOW], while supplies last. Looking ahead, Hasbro has already lined up another Kenner Classics release with the Janine Melnitz and Louis Tully 40th Anniversary Set, first revealed during San Diego Comic-Con. Taking a "what if" approach to the original toy line, the set gives both animated favorites their own classic-style Ghostbusters uniforms, complete with Proton Packs, uniquely colored stream effects, and companion ghosts. The two-pack is currently sold out through Hasbro Pulse, although additional availability is expected, so stay tuned. Also on the way are The Real Ghostbusters Ecto-Plazms, featuring 72 possible collectibles across 12 characters, with each available in six different colors, including glow-in-the-dark variants. The figures come packaged in containers inspired by Kenner's original Ecto-Plazm canisters, and the 12-can set is currently available to pre-order through Hasbro Pulse [PRE-ORDER NOW], with shipping scheduled to begin in October. Ghostbusters ii-inspired terror tub returns as a bigger, slimier collectible.

Ghostbusters ii-inspired terror tub returns as a bigger, slimier collectible. Just mere hours after its previous update surrounding The Real Ghostbusters Kenner Classics Ecto-Glow Ecto-1, Ghostbusters News has got the news many Ghostbusters fans have been waiting for, as Hasbro has begun processing orders for the long-awaited Plasma Series Proton Pack (1984) replica. Following last month's "preparing to ship" emails sent to collectors, fans have now started seeing charges appear for their Proton Pack pre-orders, meaning shipment notifications are likely right around the corner. First announced during Ghostbusters Day 2025, the updated Proton Pack marked the return of Hasbro's full-scale Plasma Series replica line, this time pulling directly from the original 1984 film. Priced at $299.99 at launch, the collectible features several notable upgrades over its Afterlife-inspired predecessor, including USB-C power support for continuous playback, improved interaction with the Neutrona Wand (sold separately), and premium detailing developed with access to the original hero prop. Of course, this latest development follows news of The Real Ghostbusters Kenner Classics Ecto-Glow Ecto-1, which has already begun arriving in the hands of some lucky fans. If you missed that report, you can find full details here. And naturally, once the Proton Pack arrives here at Ghostbusters News HQ, expect a full unboxing, hands-on impressions, and review. Previously on Ghostbusters News, Ghostbusters News featured a fan-made Ghostbusters game for the Commodore 64 that tasked players with tracking down and trapping Slimer while keeping their health topped up by eating strategically placed Twinkies. Created by David Izon, the project originally surfaced as a work in progress in 2021 before receiving a downloadable demo a few years back. Izon was upfront about its unfinished state, but now he's returned to the project, with the game undergoing a pretty substantial overhaul. Now titled Ghostbusters Revisited, the updated project greatly expands on that early demo, with newly released gameplay footage showcasing several additions that push what was already an ambitious Commodore 64 fan game even further. Among the biggest surprises are side-scrolling Ecto-1 driving sequences, putting players behind the wheel of the Ghostbusters' Cadillac as they make their way through New York City. Ghostbusters News also get a much better look at first-person ghostbusting, with players zappin' and trappin' Slimer and the Library Ghost before doing battle with Gozer the Gozerian, all somehow on the C64. The familiar gameplay loop of rummaging through rooms also remains part of the experience, with encounters featuring both Zuul and Vinz Clortho. Izon stresses, however, that Ghostbusters Revisited is still very much a work in progress, with additional ghosts, room designs, polish, and further development still planned. Reflecting on the project's return, Izon explained that after leaving the original demo sitting unfinished for several years, he decided to revisit it in 2026 and see just how far the concept could be pushed. "The game has come a long way since that original demo, with various areas improved and the project moved on considerably," Izon said, while adding that there is still plenty left to do. For those hoping to get their hands on it, a download of Ghostbusters Revisited is reportedly coming soon. Ghostbusters News'll be keeping an eye on the project and will report back once the latest build becomes available. It's also worth clearing up one potentially confusing detail. Ghostbusters Revisited is not the same project as Ghostbusters Remastered, another Commodore 64 fan game currently in development by SingleCopy. While Izon's game expands upon his own unique concept, Ghostbusters Remastered is a separate reimagining of David Crane's original 1984 Ghostbusters game, with further details on that project available here. With San Diego Comic-Con just kicking off, Hasbro has officially revealed the first additions to its The Real Ghostbusters anniversary lineup, announcing both the Kenner Classics Janine Melnitz & Louis Tully 40th Anniversary Set and Ecto-Plazms minifigures, with pre-orders now open. The Kenner Classics Janine Melnitz & Louis Tully 40th Anniversary Set brings two of the animated series' most recognizable supporting characters into Hasbro's retro-inspired Kenner Classics collection. Standing 5 inches tall, both figures feature articulation and styling faithful to the original Kenner line, complete with character-specific Proton Packs, Neutrona Wands with stream effects, and two ghost companions to round out the set. The set is priced at $46.99 USD and is scheduled to ship on November 1. [PRE-ORDER NOW] Alongside the figures, Hasbro also unveiled The Real Ghostbusters Ecto-Plazms, a new line inspired by the 1986 animated series. The release includes 72 minifigures featuring 12 different characters, made up of five Ghostbusters and seven iconic ghosts. Each character is available in one of six possible color variations, including glow-in-the-dark editions. Packed inside containers reminiscent of Kenner's original Ecto-Plazm canisters, the Pulse-exclusive minifigure collection is priced at $89.99 USD and is expected to ship on October 1. [PRE-ORDER NOW] As always, Ghostbusters News'll continue bringing you the latest Ghostbusters news from the convention floor as it happens, so keep posted to Ghostbusters News and its YouTube channel for continued updates.
