Small Girls PR is a public relations agency that helps brands gain media coverage and grow their presence through media relations, influencer marketing, and experiential events. It works by starting with insight-led brand strategy and content, then executing across digital, print, broadcast, and new formats like podcasts and Substack, plus influencer and celebrity partnerships and live activations. Differentiators include highly personalized, one-to-one outreach, a strong emphasis on creator-driven programs and experiential activations, and a culture rooted in blogging and social-media communities. The goal is to help brands stand out in crowded markets by crafting authentic stories and experiences that spark conversations and build lasting reputations; SGPR operates from NYC and LA and serves consumer tech, lifestyle, and retail clients, and was acquired by Orchestra in 2024 to scale capabilities while preserving its culture.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • SGPR grew to 80+ employees by July 2026, signaling continued demand.
  • Orchestra's October 2024 deal funded expansion into consumer, experiential, and influencer marketing.
  • Current clients include Billie, Taskrabbit, GE, Jack in the Box, Nutrafol, and Snapchat.

What critics are saying

  • PR Week reported no layoffs in 2024; Orchestra integration pressure hits after 2026 lease changes.
  • SGPR depends on client-driven consumer spending cycles, with no recurring software-like revenue.
  • Orchestra consolidation can erase SGPR's independent culture and trigger talent departures by 2026.

What makes Small Girls PR unique

  • Mallory Blair still leads SGPR after Orchestra's October 2024 acquisition.
  • SGPR's earned-media, influencer, and experiential model built recognizable cultural campaigns since 2010.
  • Orchestra's broader analytics and paid-media stack strengthens SGPR's creative-first execution.
