About the job
- Ability to work 12-hour and 9-hour shifts, including weekends, with no overnight shifts.

- GED or high school diploma.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program and registration or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant, or 2+ years of experience working in a medical office.
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families during visits while demonstrating sensitivity to patient comfort and privacy.
- Accurately record patient history, complete patient vital signs, retrieve basic patient condition information, and report it to the appropriate practitioner.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and other direct patient-care processes, including applying splints and wound dressings, collecting and recording laboratory tests, and administering oral and injectable medication.
