Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent and 15 years of full-time education are required.
  • At least 6 years of experience with knowledge graph technologies, including RDF, SPARQL, LPG, and SHACL, are required.
  • At least 6 years of experience in schema design, ontology management, and knowledge graph curation are required.
  • At least 4 years of experience designing and developing knowledge graph solutions and graph-based machine learning models with both functional and technical expertise are required.
  • At least 3 years of experience implementing end-to-end data pipelines for artificial intelligence applications, especially large language models, including hands-on design and configuration, are required.
  • At least 6 years of experience with relational databases, object stores, graph databases such as Stardog, Neo4j, and Amazon Neptune, and vector databases are required.
  • At least 6 years of managerial experience leading people, explaining semantic-layer and knowledge-graph value to senior stakeholders, supporting sales or presales, delivering data-transformation programs, and developing teams are required.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, as well as tools for building extract-transform-load pipelines such as Apache NiFi and Airflow, is required.
  • The candidate must have external client-facing consulting experience.
  • A 15 years full-time education qualification is required.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and schema design within cloud-based data warehousing environments is required.
  • Experience managing and optimizing large-scale data repositories for complex queries and analytics is required.

Responsibilities
  • Design and structure knowledge frameworks that enable artificial intelligence systems to reason and make informed decisions.
  • Capture and translate expert and unstructured knowledge into ontologies, knowledge graphs, and semantic models while ensuring accuracy and context.
  • Apply advanced analytics to knowledge graphs to drive problem-solving and actionable insights.
  • Lead the complete knowledge-engineering scope for strategic and complex programs, including thought leadership, innovation, and asset creation.
  • Formulate real-world problems into scalable artificial-intelligence and knowledge-graph solutions and set end-to-end strategy and architecture.
  • Lead and develop teams of engineers, build capability across the discipline, and guide adoption of new methods and algorithms.
  • Define standards for designing, evaluating, and maintaining ontologies across programs.
  • Shape methodologies and data architectures that demonstrate value at scale and make the business case for semantic-layer solutions to senior stakeholders.
  • Partner with business and technical leaders to direct end-to-end delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder programs.
  • Lead the complete knowledge-graph solution scope and transform data architecture for strategic and complex clients.
  • Own the design, development, and implementation of artificial-intelligence and semantic solutions across the program.
  • Partner with project leaders, delivery leads, and senior client stakeholders to create graph-powered offerings.
  • Lead Accenture sales and presales efforts and shape data-transformation programs.
  • Drive thought leadership, innovation, and asset development on trends and agentic technologies, and develop the teams that deliver them.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align knowledge frameworks with organizational goals and evolving business needs.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve knowledge models to enhance the performance and accuracy of artificial-intelligence systems.
  • Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise and guiding best practices in knowledge engineering.
  • Engage with multiple teams and make team decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams and business areas.

Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company mentioned LearnVantage only once on its June 2026 earnings call, listing it amongst AI enablers rather than highlighting it as a standalone growth driver. Meanwhile, Accenture is redirecting resources toward cybersecurity, which has grown from $700 million in fiscal 2016 to $10 billion in fiscal 2025. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue. The company has also launched Accenture Edge, targeting mid-market companies. The stock is down 24.3% over the past year.

Accenture acquires Dutch SAP partner McCoy to boost mid-market AI and ERP capabilities

Accenture has agreed to acquire McCoy, a Dutch SAP transformation partner specialising in mid-market companies. Upon closing, McCoy will join Accenture Edge, the firm's mid-market business serving companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion. Founded in 2012, McCoy operates from the Netherlands with offices in Spain and the Philippines. The company employs over 380 professionals who design, implement and manage SAP solutions across ERP, data and business applications. McCoy holds SAP Gold Partner status and serves clients in high-tech, manufacturing, public sector, utilities and retail. The acquisition will strengthen Accenture Edge's position in the EMEA mid-market whilst expanding SAP modernisation capabilities in the Netherlands. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.
