Seeking Sustainability Specialist candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as TLH.  This as a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Position and ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a Environmental Continuing Services (Sustainability Specialist) in the Environmental Management Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as City of Tallahassee  (TLH) | Department of Environmental Services & Facilities Management Generally Located In Tallahassee - Florida 32306 and across the Southeastern Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Sustainability Specialist  | Environmental Consulting and Management Services [TLH048053]

• Develop and implement sustainability policies for municipal operations.
• Support ISO 14001 certification processes.
• Create metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of climate change mitigation strategies.
• Lead sustainability workshops

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications For Sustainability Specialist | Environmental Consulting and Management Services [TLH048053] (TLH048053) Candidates:

• In-depth knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001).
• Climate action expertise

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy, Sustainability, or related field; 3–7 years of sustainability experience.
• LEED or equivalent certification preferred; grant writing and community engagement experience desirable.

Skills Required
