About the company

BrowserStack provides a cloud-based software testing platform that lets developers and QA teams test websites and mobile apps on 3,500+ real devices and browsers across 19 global data centers. Tests can be run manually or automatically in BrowserStack's cloud, replacing the need to own and maintain an in-house test lab. The service stands out by offering broad coverage of real devices and browsers, a global footprint, and a managed testing infrastructure that reduces back-end maintenance for users. Its goal is to help teams ship reliable software faster by enabling scalable cross-browser and cross-device testing in the cloud.

BrowserStack recognized as a Challenger in the 2026 Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for Digital Accessibility.

BrowserStack recognized as a Challenger in the 2026 Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for Digital Accessibility. At BrowserStack, BrowserStack believe that digital accessibility shouldn't be a post-launch compliance checkbox or a series of periodic manual audits. To build truly accessible digital experiences, accessibility testing must be automated, continuous, and embedded directly into every phase of the software development lifecycle. BrowserStack is excited to share that BrowserStack has been recognized as a Challenger in the 2026 Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for Digital Accessibility. The Gartner Magic Quadrant evaluates vendors based on their Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision. BrowserStack is thrilled to be included among the recognized vendors in this report. According to Gartner, "Digital accessibility platforms have evolved from periodic compliance tools into continuous, AI-augmented accessibility assurance." The report further observes that "buyers increasingly expect accessibility capabilities inside design tools, IDEs, CI/CD pipelines, and AI coding environments rather than in separate postproduction scanning tools." BrowserStack believe its placement as a Challenger reflects its commitment to meeting these evolving demands by building a modern, software-first platform that seamlessly integrates accessibility into everyday developer and QA workflows. In its view, this recognition underscores: * Pioneering real-device verification: Its patented hardware-based testing cloud enables teams to validate digital experiences against actual screen reader audio on physical devices, delivering the real-world fidelity that software emulators cannot replicate for complex, dynamic user journeys. * Shift-Left integration: By embedding accessibility checks natively into Figma, IDEs (VS Code, JetBrains, Xcode, Cursor, and more), and CI/CD pipelines, BrowserStack empower organizations to eliminate defect backlogs and resolve issues at the source. * Enterprise infrastructure & governance: With a globally distributed SaaS infrastructure, localized regional hosting, and strict AI data privacy governance, BrowserStack provide enterprise teams with a secure, highly scalable testing foundation. Over the past year, BrowserStack has made major investments in its all-in-one Accessibility Testing suite to empower engineering, design, and QA teams: * Design & Code Shift-Left: With its Accessibility Design Toolkit, Accessibility DevTools for IDEs (VS Code, JetBrains, Xcode, Cursor), and MCP Server for AI coding assistants, teams catch and resolve accessibility defects before code reaches production. * Real-Device Screen Reader Automation: BrowserStack introduced industry-first programmatic testing on real devices for VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA, and JAWS, capturing actual spoken output. Auto-detect screen reader issues directly within existing functional automation suites or simply scan a URL for an instant compliance report. * Enterprise Continuous Scanning: From dynamic web apps to native mobile applications and digital PDFs, its continuous monitoring give enterprise leadership full visibility into compliance health. * Screen Reader Experience Agent (Now in Beta): An industry-first AI agent that autonomously navigates web and mobile applications using real screen readers. By simply describing user journeys in plain English (e.g., "Select size Medium and complete checkout"), the agent tests critical workflows and uncovers experience-breaking barriers, cutting manual testing effort by up to 80%. BrowserStack invite engineering, QA, and accessibility leaders to explore the complete Gartner report and request early access to its Screen Reader Experience Agent (Beta). BrowserStack launches real-browser Load Testing ahead of holiday sales.

BrowserStack launches real-browser Load Testing ahead of holiday sales. 14 Oct, 2026, 18:30 IST DUBLIN, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - BrowserStack, the leading AI-native software testing platform, today announced the launch of BrowserStack Load Testing, which runs real browsers and API traffic in a single test so teams can see how their web apps hold up ahead of holiday and festive sales. For years, teams have load tested their sites by sending traffic to their servers and timing how fast they respond, but that no longer tells the full story. Modern web apps build much of each page inside the visitor's browser, so a site can pass its load test while customers wait on a checkout page that won't load. That wait costs most on the busiest shopping days: according to Adobe Analytics, U.S. shoppers spent $12.5 million online every minute during peak hours on Black Friday 2025. To close that gap, BrowserStack Load Testing puts browsers back into the test. With it, teams can: * Test a sale-day rush with up to 1 million API and 1,000 browser virtual users per test, across geographies, on fully managed infrastructure. * See frontend, backend, and APM metrics in a single view to find where performance breaks under load. * Turn existing Playwright, Selenium, JMeter and k6 scripts into load tests without rewrites, or record new flows with a low-code recorder. * Use AI agents to pinpoint the root cause of a slowdown and migrate NeoLoad and LoadRunner tests, with natural language scripting and MCP coming soon. "Every year we watch great products stumble on their biggest day, and almost always for the same reason: the test said the servers were fine. We've run real browsers at scale for 15 years, so we built Load Testing to show teams what their customers actually see," said Ritesh Arora, Co-founder and CEO, BrowserStack. BrowserStack Load Testing is now generally available, and teams can start for free at browserstack.com/load-testing. About BrowserStack BrowserStack is the world's leading AI-native software testing platform, helping developers and QA teams deliver quality software at speed. Trusted by over 50,000 teams, including Amazon, Microsoft, and NVIDIA, BrowserStack powers more than three million tests every day across 21 global data centers. The platform gives teams instant access to over 30,000 real devices and browsers. Founded in 2011, BrowserStack is a privately held company backed by Accel, Bond, and Insight Partners. BrowserStack launches real-browser load testing as holiday shoppers spend $12.5M a minute

BrowserStack, a software testing platform, has launched BrowserStack Load Testing, which runs real browsers and API traffic in a single test. The tool helps teams check how their web apps hold up ahead of holiday and festive sales. Traditional load tests send traffic to servers and time their responses. Modern web apps build much of each page in the visitor's browser, so a site can pass such a test while customers wait on a checkout page that won't load. The stakes are high. According to Adobe Analytics, US shoppers spent $12.5 million online every minute during peak hours on Black Friday 2025. "We've run real browsers at scale for 15 years, so we built Load Testing to show teams what their customers actually see," said Ritesh Arora, co-founder and chief executive officer of BrowserStack. The product is now generally available, and teams can start for free.
