- Have adequate hearing and visual acuity, including adequate color vision.
- Have fine motor skills, adequate eye-hand coordination, and the ability to grasp and handle objects.
- Use proper body mechanics to assist patients with ambulation and transfers.
- Use standard precautions due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
- Communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or by telephone.
- Function as a member of the clinical patient-care team and perform tasks and procedures consistent with the training and licensure of a medical oncologist or hematologist.
- Demonstrated practice-building experience is a plus.
- Experience practicing radiation oncology with a strong record, or being an excellent recent graduate.
