Requirements
  • At least 2 years of retail sales experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in retail home appliances, home electronics, or home technology is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to articulate product benefits and the LG brand story.
  • Ability to drive sales and brand awareness.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organization, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Comfort using video conferencing and virtual communication tools.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain LG certification requirements.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the market, with some limited overnight and/or airline travel.
  • Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, bend over, grasp, talk, hear, and drive.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Continuous hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation.
Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth and market share by executing strategic territory and in-store action plans, influencing store and district leaders, and maximizing sell-out performance.
  • Build collaborative relationships with client and retail leadership while engaging store associates to strengthen brand advocacy and execution.
  • Lead product training and identify regional development opportunities to educate, motivate, and empower retail teams on features, benefits, and value.
  • Ensure in-store displays are visually compelling, fully functional, properly merchandised, and supported by accurate pricing and point-of-purchase materials.
  • Resolve retailer issues, deliver exceptional service, follow up consistently to achieve goals, and identify new opportunities.
  • Capture and communicate sales data, competitive insights, customer feedback, and market trends through Salesforce to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support and execute marketing programs and strategic initiatives that elevate brand awareness and performance across the territory.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry dynamics and the competitive landscape while achieving and sustaining top-level LG training certification.

Channel Partners acquires Retail Merchandising Services, combining 40 years of in-store expertise with real-time retail intelligence platform

Channel Partners Solutions has acquired Retail Merchandising Services, a national merchandising company headquartered in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The deal combines RMS's 40 years of in-store execution experience with Channel Partners' OpenSy™ field intelligence platform, which provides real-time visit verification and AI-powered photo validation. Founded in 1985, RMS operates across all 50 US states and holds Target Preferred Partner designation, granting backroom certification and direct inventory access. The company will continue serving existing clients whilst integrating Channel Partners' technology stack throughout 2026 and 2027. The combined organisation will deliver retail execution services across merchandising, audits, experiential marketing and warehousing. RMS operates using a W-2 employee model and serves brands across consumer electronics, grocery, health and beauty categories.
