Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Employees have several development routes: Reyes lists training at every level, education assistance and internal job opportunities.
  • A new center includes training space: Reyes broke ground on the 620,000-square-foot project in February 2026, anticipating long-term employment.
  • Facility emissions are falling: Reyes' June 2026 report shows a 9% reduction for 2025, reaching 27% below its 2021 baseline.

What critics are saying

  • Closure plans affect staffing: May 2026's Ventura notice scheduled July closure, affecting 85 jobs, with 78 reassignments planned.
  • Plant leadership includes weekend work: Reyes' Rancho Cucamonga senior manufacturing manager posting requires weekend availability.
  • Route driving combines early starts and lifting: Reyes' Schofield CDL role starts at 4 a.m., lifting 25-50 pounds, sometimes 170.

What makes Reyes Coca-Cola unique

  • Western markets shape the footprint: Reyes' ten-state territory includes California and Nevada.
  • Water stewardship has certification: three California sites hold Core status; July 2026's announcement claimed Coca-Cola's North American bottler first.
  • The parent connects distribution businesses: family-owned Reyes Holdings also owns beer distributor Reyes Beverage Group and McDonald's supplier Martin Brower.
