  • Knowledge of direct marketing, logistics, and fulfillment operations, including strategy, creative development, production, research, measurement, and media, is required.
  • The ability to analyze demographics and trends in client operations to meet fluctuating demands and avoid excess inventory is required.
  • Familiarity with print processes for developing collateral materials is required.
  • Familiarity with web development and design, reporting, content management, and writing is required.
  • The ability to document work using clear, concise, and grammatically correct language is required.
  • The candidate must be able to lead in a team environment and manage projects with large work teams.
  • The candidate must be able to negotiate with vendors, broker differences, manage conflict, adapt to changing requirements, and resolve issues related to meeting deadlines.
  • The candidate must be able to communicate with a variety of people and vendors.
  • The candidate may be required to walk or stand to observe processing and packing procedures.
  • Occasional overtime may be required to resolve inventory or shipping issues.
  • Professional business attire is expected.
Responsibilities
  • Manage logistics and fulfillment projects on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure quality in packing, shipping, distribution, and receiving processes.
  • Organize key information structures.
  • Assist in creating and managing direct mail, print, and digital marketing materials and related relationships.
  • Manage marketing and logistics support projects through completion.
  • Participate in meetings with marketing and logistics staff to develop strategies for meeting goals.
  • Coordinate the timely production of marketing materials.
  • Manage document production processes in coordination with Creative Services, Print Production, and the Program Manager.
  • Monitor creative, web, and print services production and delivery, provide updates, and ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Coordinate dissemination of collateral and marketing materials and help establish pick lists for packet assembly.
  • Manage marketing communications, promotional products, and sales project management and reporting tools and processes.
  • Forecast marketing expenses and manage budgets.
  • Document programs accurately and provide team management, coordination, and timely execution.
  • Measure and report program effectiveness.
  • Provide summary reviews of marketing and logistics projects to key stakeholders.
  • Manage public- and stakeholder-facing websites, including content management, design input, troubleshooting, testing, reporting, and analysis.
  • Develop and distribute site reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate daily logistics operations, including timelines, creative development, legal reviews, production, budgets, and status reports.
  • Plan inventory and ensure orders are processed efficiently.
  • Interact with vendors to maintain up-to-date inventory of goods.
  • Monitor warehouse processes and recommend productivity improvements.
  • Forecast market trends with the marketing manager.
  • Contract with sufficient vendors to meet customer demand without interruption.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for upper-management review and approval.
  • Support warehouse operations by preparing and packaging orders for timely shipment.
  • Supervise and motivate fulfillment staff.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree with a concentration in business administration, marketing, operations, or another field related to inventory and management is preferred.
  • Previous inventory or fulfillment management experience is preferred.
