Requirements

At least 10 years of work experience in key finance functions such as financial planning and analysis, controlling, or transactional accounting, in a team lead or manager capacity.
Specific industry-level experience in plant controlling or bank controlling/accounting.
Ability to navigate financials in key controlling and finance reports and understand their correlations.
Solid understanding of key financial indicators and ratios presented in an annual report.
Data analytics skills, practical experience with enterprise resource planning systems, and ability to perform accounting transactions.
Overview of the roles and responsibilities of the organization relating directly to the chief financial officer.
Detailed understanding of the financial month-end process.
Experience managing senior stakeholders and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience managing finance personnel and ownership of day-to-day accounting activities.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
Professional English and Hungarian language knowledge.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end delivery of finance projects by leading workstreams, gathering and analyzing information, and developing actionable recommendations.
Help clients drive profitability and performance through their business operations as part of a project team.
Support development of the CFO services agenda and function to meet future challenges.
Support development of solutions to everyday issues and complex challenges faced by chief financial officers.
Build long-term trusted-advisor relationships with finance counterparts by providing current trends in finance strategy, information technology solutions, and finance process efficiency.
Work with high-profile clients on Hungarian and international engagements.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in financial project management or a relevant certificate such as Project Management Professional, PRINCE2, or Six Sigma.
System implementation experience.
Participation in continuous improvement or business process reengineering projects or initiatives.
Big Four, relevant consulting, or multinational experience.
Finance qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or CPA.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA, BlackLine, Anaplan, Power BI, or consolidation or planning solutions.

Who we are looking for

Excellent overview of the roles & responsibilities of the organization relating directly to the CFO
Detailed understanding of the financial month-end process
Excellent communication, interpersonal and client interaction skills, especially with top management
Experience with managing senior stakeholders and leading continuous improvement initiatives
Experience with managing finance personnel and ownership of day-to-day accounting activities
Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Economics
Professional English and Hungarian language knowledge are a must

It is an advantage if you have:

As a Controlling Manager in the CFO Services Team, you will support the end-to-end delivery of finance projects, leading workstreams, gathering and analyzing information and developing actionable recommendations to ensure successful delivery.

Act as a trusted advisor to build long-term trusted advisor relationships with Finance counterparts by providing the latest trends in finance strategy, IT solutions and finance process efficiency
Work with high-profile clients on a variety of Hungarian and international engagements
