Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline such as Homeland Security or Business, or a combination of education, technical training, and equivalent experience.
  • A CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
  • An ITIL v4 or v5 certification.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality customer service and understanding support workflows and client engagement best practices.
  • Additional two years of experience may be substituted with an associate’s degree.
  • Additional four years of military and/or operations environment experience may be substituted with a high school diploma.
  • Between zero and two years of related experience.
  • A minimum of two years working directly with customer and service desk functions for a WATCH Operations Center or Security Operations Center (SOC).
  • Skill in using Amazon Connect to manage customer interactions and contact flows.
  • Knowledge of customer service techniques and experience providing service desk or call center support.
  • Experience working with a service desk platform such as ServiceNow or Remedy, including ServiceNow and another alternative platform such as Remedy.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other general software applications.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of work at the client’s facility.
  • A Top Secret/SCI security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain DHS Fitness.
  • Ability to work varying hours of 8–12 hours depending on operational needs, supporting 24/7/365 operations.
  • Ability to pass a background check and any additional background checks required by projects or clients during employment.
  • Ability to perform duties for extended periods, use a computer and office productivity tools at the speed the role demands, establish a productive and professional workspace, and sit for long periods while looking at a computer screen.
Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line support for incidents and technical issues reported by the client’s staff and customers.
  • Categorize and escalate incidents according to severity and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Escalate cases to specialized teams, such as Threat Hunting and Vulnerability Management, where applicable.
  • Coordinate with regional teams, private-sector entities, and partners to ensure full incident lifecycle execution.
  • Track and verify the distribution and resolution of service requests, and certify effective communication between stakeholders.
  • Oversee shared mailboxes, incoming incident reports, and phone systems to ensure efficient case routing and response.
  • Perform correlation analysis across cyber, physical, and communication threats to enhance situational awareness.
  • Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly reports for senior leadership, outlining emerging threat patterns and operational metrics.
  • Provide customer service and technical support to the client’s partners during incident responses.
  • Participate in shift synchronization meetings to support seamless transitions in the 24/7 Operations Center.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
