Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in strategy and management consulting, business transformation design and delivery, with substantial experience in consulting or professional services at a top-tier firm and/or the Energy and Resources industry, particularly Mining and Metals or Power, Utilities and Renewables.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen, problem-solving ability, mature judgment, and the ability to deliver results.
  • Ability to structure ambiguity and communicate ideas, strategies, and recommendations clearly.
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and management of small teams.
  • Strong project management skills, including balancing competing priorities while ensuring quality outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Impeccable judgment and ability to make timely, sound decisions.
  • Willingness to travel from time to time, including internationally.
  • Appropriate approval to work in Australia.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal and Bankruptcy check before commencing employment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership of client projects and aspects of client relationships and commercial processes, sharing responsibility with Partners for engagement success.
  • Lead and manage complex programs to ensure on-time delivery against agreed goals, leveraging firm best practices, personal expertise, and technical competence.
  • Guide and influence clients across situations, including execution of the commercial process, while becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Build business by identifying new and expanded opportunities.
  • Create intellectual capital through thought leadership and broad knowledge of adjacent topics.
  • Develop others and build followership as part of asset building for the firm.
  • Lead firm-building activities and model firm values.
  • Oversee and guide joint teams as they develop hypotheses, engage stakeholders, conduct analytics, derive insights, synthesize deliverables, and achieve sustainable results.
  • Support Partners in project execution through project management, work planning, workflow management, and coaching and developing junior team members.
