Adaptive named to Construction Executive's 2026 Top Construction Technology Products(TM) list.

Adaptive named to Construction Executive's 2026 Top Construction Technology Products(TM) list. Mel Martell · July 6, 2026 Adaptive is proud to share that Construction Executive has named Adaptive to its 2026 Top Construction Technology Products(TM) list in the Accounting and Job Costing category. In construction, the gap between what is happening on the job and what shows up in the books can cost real money. Teams need real-time visibility to remain competitive, but the systems finance teams rely on have not kept up. That is the problem Adaptive was built to solve. This recognition comes on the heels of its launch of Project Accounting Agents, a new category of AI built to run the day-to-day accounting work that keeps construction projects on track. The agents act as named members of the accounting team, calling the field, coding invoices, drafting change orders, chasing lien waivers, and more, giving CFOs and controllers real-time visibility into every job. Adaptive will keep building on behalf of construction finance teams who are ready to stop explaining what happened and start driving what comes next. Agentic project accounting platform recognized for bringing real-time visibility and AI automation to construction finance NEW YORK (July 7, 2026) - Adaptive, the agentic project accountant for construction, has been named to Construction Executive's 2026 Top Construction Technology Products(TM) list in the Accounting and Job Costing category. The recognition highlights Adaptive's work to close the gap between the jobsite and the back office in real time. Construction finance teams are usually the last to know what is happening on a job. Field data moves through phone calls, daily logs, and spreadsheets before it ever reaches the books. By the time it is collected, entered, and reconciled, the window to act has already closed. Adaptive's Project Accounting Agents change that. Each agent works as a named member of the finance team, handling a specific function around the clock: a WIP and Forecasting Analyst keeping margin pictures current, an AP Clerk coding invoices without manual entry, a Field Coordination Clerk turning field conversations into structured data, and more. Finance leaders see issues as they happen and can act before they hit the P&L. "One of the biggest challenges for construction accounting teams is knowing what's actually happening on the job today that will impact the books tomorrow," said Matt Calvano, co-founder and CEO of Adaptive. "We built Project Accounting Agents to solve that problem, and being named to Construction Executive's Top Construction Technology Products list is a meaningful validation of what we're hearing from CFOs and controllers across the industry." Now in its 24th year of publication, Construction Executive is the leading trade magazine about the business of construction. The Top Construction Technology Products(TM) list was developed by asking more than 1,000 firms that provide technology and software solutions for the construction industry to complete a nomination form. The information collected included: 1) the firm's product offerings specific to the AEC industry; 2) the user profile (type and size of firm for which each product is recommended); 3) how each product is sold (by seat, user, license and/or project, etc.); and 4) the number of active users within the past 12 months (by individual users and/or companies). There was no fee to participate and not every firm that completed the nomination form made this curated list. View the complete list here. About Adaptive. Adaptive is the agentic project accountant for construction. Project Accounting Agents and the underlying platform give CFOs, controllers, and project accountants real-time visibility into every job, automating the work that has historically required teams of clerks and analysts chasing paper, phone calls, and spreadsheets. Adaptive is on a mission to bring financial clarity to the construction industry and become the standard system of record for project accounting. For more information, visit www.adaptive.build.

Strategic Partnership Brings Advanced AI Systems to Contractors Nationwide The goal is not to replace industry expertise. Accounting Firms Aim Higher As Ai Handles The Heavy Lifting

Pinion Global, one of the nation’s largest midsize accounting partnerships, is betting that artificial intelligence (AI) can do more than crunch numbers. In March, the Denver-based firm added Adaptive AI, a platform that automates data capture and basic bookkeeping, to its technology stack after a monthslong security review, principal Bill Mills said. “The tool is exactly what we’re looking for, which is taking the human element out of the transactional process,” Mills told PYMNTS. By letting algorithms post invoices and reconcile ledgers, Pinion expects to free staff accountants to spend more time interpreting results and advising clients. Early returns have impressed one hard-to-please constituency: home builders and construction contractors. Preparing loan-draw packages for banks “has historically been a paper-driven bane for everyone involved,” Mills said
