Requirements
  • 7+ years of software engineering, systems engineering and/or technical program management experience.
  • Experience in core infrastructure, database technology and cloud computing services.
  • Understand high availability in distributed systems.
  • Understand failover mechanisms and engineering playbooks on executing disaster recovery.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Track record of providing program management during all phases of software development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to drive internal and external process improvements.
  • Experience operating autonomously and leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions.
Responsibilities
  • Operationalize and execute critical cross functional programs for platformization of reliability and failover mechanisms.
  • Execute technical programs requiring deep systems and engineering knowledge.
  • Maintain software at high availability and reliability levels.
  • Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and other Technical Program Managers.
  • Develop and implement program management techniques and frameworks.
  • Train engineering teams for better delivery.
  • Produce high-quality written proposals, communications, and documentation.
  • Drive strategic decisions using data and knowledge.
  • Create plans for consistency, clarity, and alignment across teams.
