Infant Teacher – Early Childhood Education | Child Care & Daycare Setting

What You'll Need:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)

Minimum of 9 college credits in Early Childhood Education (required by NYS OCFS for Group Teacher qualification)

2+ years of experience working with infants in a licensed program

Strong understanding of infant development

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Completion of OCFS required trainings (or willingness to complete)

What You'll Do

Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants
Foster a warm, responsive, and safe classroom environment
Lead and support assistant teachers
Communicate daily with families about their child’s care and development
Ensure compliance with all OCFS regulations and center policies
Other duties as assigned
