About the job
- A technical vocational qualification, preferably with an electrical engineering focus such as electrical engineering, mechatronics, or electronics, and/or a technician qualification in a relevant field.
- Initial field-specific professional experience.
- Practical maintenance experience, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of the production and maintenance of technical equipment and systems, preferably semiconductor-industry equipment.
- Strong German and good English language skills.
- Ability to follow extensive safety regulations and assess and minimize hazards in daily work.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, reliably, flexibly, and with a quality and results orientation.
- Ensure production availability and the proper, high-quality execution of maintenance measures for equipment in the assigned area within a continuous 24/7 shift system.
- Perform planned and unplanned maintenance while complying with safety requirements and work instructions.
- Independently and proactively troubleshoot and resolve simple fault conditions on electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems with the internal team and, after coordination, with external service partners.
- Independently complete qualifications according to specified qualification instructions and operate required metrology equipment.
- Ensure high machine availability and equipment stability using methods such as statistical process control.
- Create handling instructions and associated checklists for maintenance measures in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Document maintenance work in maintenance applications.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement process.
- Participate in equipment commissioning.
- Professional experience in the semiconductor industry, including semiconductor manufacturing or suppliers.
- Experience with semiconductor-industry equipment.
- Knowledge of statistical process control methods.
