Requirements
  • Experience with building and maintaining applications in large-scale consumer websites running on Linux using Apache/nginx, mysql, mongo, node.js, PHP, JavaScript for web
  • Comfortable with any one of the programming languages like PHP or python
  • Experience with MySQL and No-SQL database like mongodb
  • Experience with GIT, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Gulp, WebPack, SauceLabs, SonarQube for source control, deployments and continuous integration
  • Ability to be proactive and work well in a pressured and growing environment
  • Ability to think out of the box and be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust priority dynamically and maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations
  • Must demonstrate strong sense of urgency regarding solving mission critical issues
  • Must have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to details
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be a team player and be able to work effectively with peers to create a positive environment
Responsibilities
  • Designing, building infrastructure on AWS environment
  • Manage cloud-based infrastructure; may be required to provide support off-hours if needed
  • Migrating existing services from physical data centers to AWS cloud
  • Use configuration management tools like Puppet for provisioning
  • Troubleshooting full web and mobile stack. Qualified candidate is required to have experience in troubleshooting live heavy traffic web applications, troubleshooting CDN related issues, CDN configuration deployment. They should have experience in managing clusters, load balancers, isolating traffic when needed, etc.
  • Candidate should have experience in managing Mysql or noSQL databases receiving high traffic
  • Candidate should have experience in monitoring tools (AppDynamics)
  • Troubleshoot production issues; escalate and communicate as required
  • Performance tuning for hosting environments, including application components
  • Build design and training documentation required for each automation project
  • Work with software development teams to improve the readiness for operational deployment
  • Write scripts to automate operations, server management and auto scaling
