About the job
- Prior experience building and maintaining Platform as a Service offerings through cloud-based providers.
- Understanding of RHEL/CentOS Linux distributions.
- Strong understanding of Red Hat OpenShift and/or other Kubernetes distributions.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience automating tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Familiarity with DevOps development processes and continuous integration tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and Nexus.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience administering production Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
- Understanding of cloud APIs and interaction with the AWS command-line interface.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Salt, or Terraform.
- Experience with one or more of Python, Ruby, or Java.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Markdown, and portal development.
- TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph required to start.
- Ability to travel as required; a valid driver's license and transportation are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to perform duties not listed in the job description as required by the employer and customer.
- Must be a United States citizen.
- Maintain systems in an AWS environment using EC2, S3, ELB, and RDS.
- Maintain systems in a VMware vSphere environment using NSX and NetApp StorageGRID.
- Automate and optimize service deployments.
- Support data management, infrastructure, data modernization, and cyber resilience for Department of Defense customers.
