About the job

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in account management, customer success, or a strategic sales role.
  • Proven experience managing large, complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with executive-level stakeholders in churches, including in person.
  • Strong independent judgment to navigate difficult partner situations without close direction.
  • Strategic thinking and tailored problem-solving skills that go beyond playbook execution.
  • Strong pipeline management and renewal forecasting skills in HubSpot or a comparable customer relationship management system.
  • Alignment with Overflow's mission and values.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to visit partner accounts.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the named Enterprise Customer Success Manager for a focused book of complex, high-value partner organizations and act as a strategic partner to executive leadership through consistent delivery, product knowledge, and strategic conversations.
  • Build relationships across partner organizations, including with Executive Pastors, CFOs, Finance Committees, Operations, IT, and Communications, ensuring key stakeholders are engaged and advocates are developed throughout each organization.
  • Host four structured giving reviews per year with executive stakeholders at each enterprise partner to review platform performance, measure giving outcomes, address organizational concerns, and build the strategic case for continued and expanded investment.
  • Maintain monthly check-ins with each partner between quarterly giving reviews to track engagement, surface emerging needs, and keep relationships active and productive.
  • Visit partner accounts in person, typically at or near launch and at least once a year, to establish relationships, meet key stakeholders, and develop high-trust, long-term partnerships.
  • Flag risks early, manage the renewal pipeline in HubSpot, execute tailored churn-prevention strategies, and take full ownership of difficult renewal conversations.
  • Develop and execute tailored expansion strategies for each enterprise account, proposing solutions beyond the existing playbook based on each partner's organizational priorities and generosity goals.
  • Build annual strategies for each partner and contribute best-practice playbooks to the broader Customer Success team; mentor and support junior Customer Success Managers by sharing effective practices.
  • Share structured feedback with Success leadership and Product based on enterprise account interactions, surfacing trends, product gaps, and innovation opportunities that can influence internal strategy.
  • Educate enterprise partners on product releases and roadmap developments, explaining how upcoming changes affect their organizational goals and giving infrastructure.
Desired Qualifications
  • Background in church operations, stewardship, or generosity consulting at scale.
  • Experience contributing to team playbooks or mentoring junior team members.

About the company

Overflow helps churches and nonprofits accept and manage donations of non-cash assets like stocks and cryptocurrency, alongside cash gifts, through a subscription-based financial technology platform. Donors can give via multiple channels (card, ACH, stock, crypto, and donor-advised funds), and Overflow processes these gifts while providing automated giving statements, live dashboards, and detailed donor and gift-status tracking. The platform focuses on reducing barriers to giving and offering low processing fees, aiming to stand out with a comprehensive, end-to-end solution for charitable fundraising. Overflow’s goal is to make generosity frictionless and to significantly increase charitable contributions by unlocking and simplifying the use of non-cash wealth, which makes up a large portion of global assets.
