Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, plumbing, and preventative maintenance is required.
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools and safe operating practices is required.
  • The role requires dependable, service-focused work and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • The candidate must meet company security clearance requirements.
  • The candidate must be able to push and pull up to 100 pounds and lift and carry up to 60 pounds unassisted.
  • The candidate must be able to stand for extended periods and bend, reach, climb ladders, crawl, and kneel.
  • The candidate must be able to work outdoors in hot or cold conditions.
  • The candidate must have scheduling flexibility, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel.
  • Troubleshoot and assist with electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, plumbing, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Maintain hotel grounds and ensure maintenance equipment is in proper working condition.
  • Complete assigned maintenance documentation.
  • Identify and immediately report or correct hazardous conditions.
  • Follow all safety, security, and brand standards.
  • Assist guests professionally and protect guest privacy.
  • Assist with houseman duties when assigned.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
