Requirements
  • At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and compliance technology is preferred.
  • Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus when paired with a strong commitment to guest-first, hospitality-focused service.

Responsibilities
  • Greet all visitors warmly and positively.
  • Manage the check-in process professionally and efficiently while upholding compliance standards.
  • Set the RISE Vibe when customers enter the dispensary.
  • Provide basic concierge-level support by answering common questions and directing traffic.
  • Maintain a visible, approachable, and responsive presence to deter incidents and ensure calm and order.
  • Monitor the store entry, exit, site perimeters, and other premises areas for safety, comfort, and compliance.
  • De-escalate situations with empathy, tact, and clear communication.
  • Support team members and store operations with safety, cleanliness, compliance, and guest flow by escorting customers and visitors and remaining alert and mobile.
  • Report and respond appropriately and urgently to safety, security, and compliance incidents.
  • Support emergency procedures and preparedness, including fire, evacuation, and weather response.
  • Conduct visual inspections and checks according to standard operating procedures to maintain a secure, hazard-free environment.
  • Build relationships and mutual trust with store teams, leadership, and customers.
  • Share insights about guest interactions, safety concerns, and security risks with transparency and discretion.
  • Support training for new Asset Protection Specialist team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Green Thumb Industries opened its 13th Nevada location, RISE Dispensary Sparks, on 18 August. The store is located at 1530 S. Stanford Way, Suite B-6 #102, Sparks, NV 89431, near I-80 in South Sparks. RISE Dispensary Sparks will serve both medical patients and adult-use customers from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The shop offers home delivery on orders of $50 or more and stocks Green Thumb's product portfolio, including RYTHM premium flower, Dogwalkers pre-rolls, incredibles chocolates, Beboe gummies, and &Shine vapes. A grand opening event is scheduled for 5 September at 8 a.m. Following company tradition, first-day profits will benefit Food Bank of Northern Nevada. The new store will offer Green Thumb's product portfolio, including RYTHM premium flower, Dogwalkers pre-rolls, and other cannabis products. Operating hours are 9am to 8pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 6pm on Sundays. A grand opening event is scheduled for 5 September, with a portion of profits benefiting The Grateful Veteran, a nonprofit supporting veterans and first responders. Green Thumb entered the Florida market in 2018 and operates two production facilities in the state, in Ocala and Homestead.
