Responsibilities
  • Responsible for defining and performing systems analysis and development tasks to improve workflow and operating efficiency.
  • Formulates proposals for new systems and information needs by analyzing existing systems and procedures and defining recommended technical and procedural improvements.
  • Analyzes costs of existing operations and estimates cost savings to be achieved by implementing proposed changes; makes recommendations based on analysis.
  • Participates in the modification of existing applications or development of new applications.
  • Acts as a liaison and technical resource between management, staff and information systems to define and communicate standards of operational policy, plans, customer service or financial/performance reporting.
  • Ensures all documentation and requests comply with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintains applicable systems to monitor and track projects, plans and/or data; provides reports to management as needed.
  • Writes test plans and performs tests of new systems and modifications to existing systems.
  • Develops communication tools to ensure a high level of awareness of policies, plans, procedures or study/project results.

  • Thorough knowledge of policies, plans, procedures, products and regulatory requirements for assigned business unit
  • Ability to conduct an analysis of a business need, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas and conferring with business line leaders
  • Strong understanding of project management and testing methodology and procedures
  • Ability to develop test schedules, review testing plans, track test issues and report on test results
  • In depth data furnishing expertise, including interacting with the credit reporting agencies, staying up to date with industry best practices and the ability to collaborate with industry peers
  • Strong System of Record knowledge (ALS, LM, MSP, DM, Hogan) and how those systems affect our disputes and data furnishing processes
  • Experience interacting with Audit, Legal, Compliance and other business lines
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, update and correct internal procedures
  • Effective communication with senior leadership
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to work as part of a project team
  • Effective verbal and written presentation and communication skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

U.S. Bank has partnered with Built, an AI-native platform for real estate and construction finance, to streamline mortgage financing for new home construction. The integration connects borrowers, the bank and builders on a single platform, reducing delays and improving transparency throughout the construction process. Built's cloud-based system manages draws, inspections and communications in one centralised location. The platform can improve draw times by up to 70% and provides real-time access to budgets, inspection reports and project updates. Once a construction loan is originated, U.S. Bank activates the project within Built, allowing borrowers to manage their loans during the building process. The partnership covers both consumer mortgage borrowers and commercial real estate clients, supporting the full lifecycle of construction loans from budgeting to disbursements.

Wally Mlynarski named Elavon CEO after Bank of America merchant services role

US Bank has appointed Alan Flanagan as head of Global Investment Services, overseeing Global Fund Services and Global Corporate Trust. U.S. Bank raises $5.7B in tax credit syndications for affordable housing and clean energy

U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance raised $5.7 billion in third-party capital through tax credit syndications in 2025, the highest annual total in the company's history. The investments came from 58 institutional investors across 109 transactions, financing affordable housing, renewable energy and economic development projects. The 2025 syndications financed 6,812 affordable housing units across 19 states, renewable energy generation capacity of 4.4 GW, battery storage capacity of 0.8 GW, and 129 economic development projects. U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance also surpassed $7 billion in tax credit transfers since 2023, reflecting growing demand for this investment vehicle introduced under the Inflation Reduction Act. Since inception, the company has raised $28 billion in federal tax credit capital from 183 investors across more than 400 funds.
