Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply planning, master scheduling, or Sales and Operations Planning within a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Demonstrated experience with rough-cut capacity planning and Master Production Schedule development.
  • Proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems is required.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau is required for key performance indicator tracking and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and capacity modeling tools.
  • A track record of career growth and increasing responsibility is required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the enterprise supply plan, translating the consensus demand plan into a feasible production and supply strategy through rough-cut capacity planning.
  • Lead the supply review process within the monthly Sales and Operations Planning cycle, presenting supply constraints, risks, and recommended mitigations to senior leadership.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for plant Operations teams on supply plan requirements, capacity utilization, and schedule feasibility.
  • Provide dotted-line oversight and direction to plant Master Schedulers, ensuring alignment between enterprise supply plans and facility-level Master Production Schedules.
  • Identify supply and demand imbalances and capacity constraints, and develop and communicate resolution scenarios and trade-off analyses.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning to ensure supply plans reflect the latest consensus forecast and support agreed service level targets.
  • Work with Procurement and Materials teams to align supply plans with material availability and lead time constraints.
  • Maintain and improve supply planning tools, capacity models, and enterprise resource planning planning parameters, and partner with the Planning Systems Manager on system enhancements.
  • Develop and monitor key supply planning key performance indicators, including schedule attainment, capacity utilization, and inventory performance.
  • Lead a team of supply planners to optimize inventory levels, improve forecast accuracy, and ensure seamless product availability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience providing cross-functional or dotted-line leadership to scheduling or planning personnel.
  • INFOR/SyteLine experience.
  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management or Certified Supply Chain Professional certification.
  • ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management certification.
