Millie and El Camino Health to open joint Palo Alto maternity clinic in December 2026

Millie, a technology-enabled women's health clinic, and El Camino Health, a Bay Area health system, will open a joint maternity clinic in Palo Alto in December 2026. The clinic pairs Millie's midwifery-led care with El Camino Health's maternity services and its labor and delivery units. Patients get one connected experience from pregnancy through postpartum care, including lactation support, mental health services, and a home visit. The model targets older mothers. In 2023, 21% of US births were to women 35 and older, up from 9% in 1990, according to the CDC. A second clinic is in development in the South Bay and will open in the coming months. El Camino Health handles about 5,000 births a year.
