Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Current registration or certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Experience with electronic medical records; NextGen experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work in both the front and back office.
  • Must be willing to travel to the Reisterstown, Woodholme (Pikesville), and Towson locations.
  • Candidates selected for an interview must take a medical skills assessment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist during routine examinations.
  • Record patient histories and log vital signs.
  • Obtain and track authorizations and test results.
  • Enter laboratory and diagnostic test orders.
  • Assist patients with continuous glucose monitoring devices.
  • Schedule appointments, procedures, and imaging.
  • Provide front-desk check-in or call-center coverage as needed.
  • Work closely with a healthcare provider in a multispecialty setting, including triaging calls, rooming patients, assisting during office visits, and providing follow-up to patients and families.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, or podiatry is preferred; internal medicine or primary care experience will also be considered.
  • National registration as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
