  • A college degree as a Physician Assistant from a recognized university affiliated with a medical school.
  • Certification and credentialing applicable to the position must meet the Medical Staff Guidelines.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as an in-house Internal Medicine Service physician assistant and assess and care for Internal Medicine patients under the direction of Internal Medicine Service physicians.
  • Assess, evaluate, care for, and follow up with patients referred to the Spine Center.
  • Plan and maintain continuity of care for Spine Center patients under the direction of the supervising physician.
  • Plan, administer, control, and manage the quality of department activities under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services.
  • Assess and care for outpatient and inpatient cardiology patients under the supervision of a Northside cardiologist.
  • Provide direct patient care, oversee diagnostic testing, and support physicians in other clinical activities within the scope of practice.
  • Assess, evaluate, care for, and follow up with patients admitted to the inpatient Bone Marrow/Leukemia service.
Desired Qualifications
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support or Basic Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean.
