Five or more years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including three or more years in leadership, are required.
Proven success in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling is required.
Experience implementing scalable systems and automation in growing organizations is required.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, compliance, and tax standards is required.
Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, or advanced Excel and Google Sheets is required.
Experience in e-commerce or multi-channel retail is preferred.
The candidate must be able to influence executive-level decisions and communicate financial insight clearly.
Responsibilities
Own the full finance function, including scalable systems, cash flow management, profitability, and financial strategy.
Deliver accurate, audit-ready financial statements by the 20th of each month with full account reconciliation and no material errors.
Build and maintain a 12-month rolling cash forecast, updating it weekly.
Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across all departments.
Develop automated systems and workflows to reduce manual reporting time by at least 25% within the first year.
Partner with leadership to implement initiatives that increase profitability and improve EBITDA by two percentage points within the first 12 months.
Create and document standard operating procedures for close, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting processes.
Implement new systems for expense management, travel, and purchasing by Month 6.
Produce financial dashboards and key performance indicators that support decision-making.
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Operations to align growth, cash flow, and inventory planning.
Evaluate enterprise resource planning and reporting-tool solutions to prepare the company for scale.

You bring:
