Requirements
  • A master's degree is required in School Counseling, School Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Successful graduate-level teaching experience in face-to-face and/or online settings is required.
  • Successful leadership experience is required.
  • Experience in course and program design is required.
  • A commitment to multicultural urban education is required.
Responsibilities
  • Work with the Program Chair and Lead Course Instructor to teach program courses.
  • Master and teach graduate course sections in one or more of the following areas: Foundations of School Counseling; Crisis Intervention; Counseling Theory and Techniques; Educational Psychology; Legal and Ethical Issues; Multicultural Counseling; and Career Development.
  • Participate in the Adjunct/Full Time Instructors’ Online Learning Community.
Desired Qualifications
  • An earned doctorate in School Counseling, School Psychology, Special Education, or a related field is preferred.
