Requirements
  • A master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology is required.
  • Two years of experience working directly with a clinical population or related experience under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician is required.
  • A valid Colorado state-issued driver's license is required.
  • Candidates must complete a background screening before an offer of employment.
  • A personal vehicle is required for transportation to monitor and coordinate care.
  • The role requires the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • The role requires the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • The role requires the ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, consumers, guardians, family members, and the general public.
  • The role requires practical and complex problem-solving and critical reasoning through varied situations with limited standardization.
  • The role requires the ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions.
  • The role requires the ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively.
  • The role requires the ability to drive frequently and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation and counseling to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities involved in Medicaid Waiver services.
  • Conduct assessments and formulate individualized multidisciplinary treatment plans to guide services in homes and community settings.
  • Consult with and train family members and host-home providers on therapeutic interventions and behavioral programs.
  • Work with Interdisciplinary Team members to provide holistic support to people receiving services.
  • Meet individual and team monthly billed-unit productivity goals.
  • Participate in regional leadership team meetings with representatives from Residential and Day Services, review interdepartmental regional health issues, solve problems, and plan and execute regional events.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Colorado license as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist is preferred.
