What believers are saying

  • September 22, 2026 FSA BPA adds a five-year, $330M task-order pipeline.
  • May 2026 Torque work extends Rise8 into Air Force readiness software serving 100,000 users.
  • March 2026 VA Ambient Scribe rollout and past 33-day, 119-day deliveries validate execution.

What critics are saying

  • Rise8 depends heavily on U.S. federal budgets and contracting cycles for virtually all revenue.
  • The 180-day guarantee creates margin compression if integration, ATO, or customer delays slip.
  • If VA or Air Force programs miss outcomes, Rise8 loses credibility and future task orders.

What makes Rise8 unique

  • September 2026 Outcome Factory guarantees first mission outcome in 180 days or free.
  • Rise8 embeds product teams and ships secured software into production, not slideware.
  • Federal vehicles with VA SPRUCE, AFWERX SDO, and FSA BPA widen direct access.

U.S. Department of Education selects Rise8 for $330M multiple-awardee Federal Student Aid Digital Services Modernization BPA.

U.S. Department of Education selects Rise8 for $330M multiple-awardee Federal Student Aid Digital Services Modernization BPA. As one of seven prime awardees on the five-year vehicle, Rise8 can compete for task orders to modernize the digital services millions of students and families use. September 22, 2026 09:01 ET | Source: Rise8 TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Rise8, a leader in developing custom software for critical missions, announces its selection as one of seven prime awardees for the U.S. Department of Education Federal Student Aid (FSA) Digital Services Modernization Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). Under the five-year, $330M contract vehicle, Rise8 can compete for task orders supporting the modernization, development, operations, and continuous improvement of digital services across FSA. Families and students who rely on grants, work-study, and loans to pay for school deserve software that works at every step. FSA is the largest provider of student financial aid in the country, delivering approximately $133 billion a year in grants, work-study funds, and loans. Families, students, and schools reach almost all of it through software: FAFSA processing, aid origination, disbursement, and servicing. The BPA calls for outcome-focused digital services support, aligning with Rise8's approach to software development. The work starts by defining the outcome, the change in system or human behavior required to produce mission impact. Rise8 partners with government teams, embedding product managers, designers, and engineers alongside them to continuously deliver valuable software users love. "The scale of ED's mission inspires me... more than 12.9 million students receiving aid each year, roughly 6,100 schools, and $133 billion delivered annually... it's one of the most consequential missions in government," said Bryon Kroger, Founder and CEO, Rise8. "Families and students who rely on grants, work-study, and loans to pay for school deserve software that works at every step. That includes people on our own team. When we look at a new mission area, we look for readiness to change, and the FAFSA team has already proven they have it. We look forward to helping ED scale that success to other programs that need it." The FSA BPA adds to the ways federal agencies can work with Rise8 to develop custom software for critical missions. Rise8 is an awardee under the Department of Veterans Affairs Secure Performant Reliable and User-Centered Experiences (SPRUCE) IDIQ and the AFWERX Software Delivery Organization (SDO) IDIQ with a $499M ceiling, open to any federal agency to award work directly. About Rise8 Rise8 ships outcomes: custom software with real mission impact. From transforming legacy systems to delivering new software capabilities in days, not years, Rise8 embeds with government teams to build, deploy, and scale mission-critical software at the speed that users demand. Rise8 is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with headquarters in Tampa, FL, and a fully remote workforce. Learn more at https://www.rise8.us/ and on LinkedIn. Rise8 launches Outcome Factory with 180-day delivery guarantee or works for free

Rise8, a custom software development firm for government missions, has launched Outcome Factory with a 180-Day Mission Outcome Guarantee. The company promises to deliver a programme's first mission outcome in production within 180 days or work for free until completion. The system addresses common government software failures through pre-configured, compliant infrastructure and end-to-end problem-solving. Rise8's approach eliminates the six to 18 months typically spent on platform and authorisation work before delivering mission value. The company has demonstrated rapid delivery on previous projects. For the Department of Veterans Affairs, it deployed working capability in 33 days. A Space Force mission planning capability was delivered in 119 days. Rise8 also automated a US Air Force manual process, reducing completion time from six days to under five minutes.

Several of them are members of the Carahsoft partner ecosystem, and that overlap is what makes Prodacity different. Government, industry and technology leaders sit in the same room and trade what's working and what's still stuck. Come Trade Notes in Nashville The problems aren't getting easier. Mandates are landing faster than most agencies can absorb them, and fixed-price contracting is the default now. Everyone is still working out where AI belongs in a compliance-heavy pipeline. U.S. Air Force 309th Software Engineering Group selects Rise8 to accelerate delivery of Torque, the enterprise system powering Aircraft Readiness.

U.S. Air Force 309th Software Engineering Group selects Rise8 to accelerate delivery of Torque, the enterprise system powering Aircraft Readiness. Rise8 to augment 309th SWEG product teams as Torque scales to more than 100,000 users across the U.S. Air Force, directly supporting the Aircraft Readiness Machine (ARM) initiative TAMPA, Fla., May 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Rise8 announces its selection by the U.S. Air Force 309th Software Engineering Group (309th SWEG) to support Torque, a mission-critical enterprise system that delivers aircraft and personnel scheduling, fleet inventory, and forecasting capabilities across the Air Force. Under the contract, Rise8 will embed balanced product teams alongside 309th SWEG to accelerate delivery of high-priority capabilities and help scale Torque to support operational readiness at enterprise scale. Owned and operated by the 309th SWEG, Torque sits at the center of how the Air Force plans, schedules, and executes missions. As the platform expands from tens of thousands to more than 100,000 users in support of the Aircraft Readiness Machine (ARM) initiative, performance, reliability, and delivery speed become decisive factors in mission outcomes. Rise8 will support field-side applications, key data services, and new capabilities while helping the program navigate major technical migrations and scaling challenges. This work will strengthen DevSecOps practices, standardize architectures, enable product management at scale, and help teams collaborate effectively across a growing platform. "Torque is exactly the kind of mission-critical software where getting delivery right has direct consequences for the Warfighter," said Bryon Kroger, CEO and founder of Rise8. "The 309th SWEG team is doing extraordinary work, and we're proud to bring experienced product teams to help Torque scale safely and quickly. When the Air Force can make faster, better-informed decisions about aircraft and people, readiness goes up." The award builds on Rise8's growing portfolio of mission-critical software work across the Department of War and federal government.
