Rhombus is looking for a Frontend Software Engineer who will focus on building the most complex features in the web/React project while managing the technical aspects of the cross-platform project (both web and mobile).

What You’ll Do:

Work with cross-functional teams to build and ship high-impact features
Create and refine reusable React components
Author tests and monitor CI/CD to keep the projectrunning smoothly
Review pull requests and mentor junior team members
Analyze performance and memory usage of a data-heavy application
Upgrade/migrate project dependencies as necessary

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of professional experience with TypeScript, React
Mastery of industry standard tools such as node, npm, git
Experience with tools that we use such as MaterialUI, vite, jotai
Great communication skills
Self-starting attitude that will thrive in a startup environment

This is an onsite position based in Sacramento, CA. Candidates must be able to commute to the office 2-3 times a week.

Compensation

Base Salary: $130,000-$160,000

Additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, include sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company. Individual pay is determined based on the candidate’s primary work/hiring location and additional factors, such as skills and experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Further details about compensation for the role can be discussed during the interview process.
