Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT, system administration, or a related technical role.
  • Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and command line.
  • Familiarity with at least one cloud provider: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability concepts.
  • Some experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Understanding of version control systems, specifically Git.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure.
  • Help implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Contribute to infrastructure-as-code development using Terraform and GitOps approaches.
  • Learn and apply container orchestration concepts with Kubernetes.
  • Improve system observability through metrics, logging, and tracing.
  • Implement and enhance monitoring solutions using the Prometheus stack and OpenTelemetry.
  • Support deployment and release processes.
  • Participate in the DevOps on-call rotation, approximately two shifts per month.
  • Document procedures and technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve application observability.
  • Assist with scripting and automation tasks using Python or Bash.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools, including the Prometheus stack.
  • Experience with log aggregation systems.
  • Understanding of basic security practices.
  • Basic knowledge of the OpenTelemetry framework.
  • Relevant certifications in AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Kubernetes.
  • Interest in contributing to incident management processes.
