- At least five years of hands-on quality-control experience involving inspection or over-inspection.
- At least three years of experience working in the aerospace industry.
- No more than one year of inactivity as an aerospace quality professional.
- Ability to distinguish and differentiate colors used in the applicable certification method, process, or inspection activity.
- Advanced proficiency in inspection methods and techniques at the applied-theory level.
- Intermediate practical proficiency in reading engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing according to ANSI Y14.5.
- Intermediate practical proficiency in AS9102 First Article Inspection accomplishment and reporting requirements.
- Intermediate practical proficiency in interpreting Coordinate Measuring Machine reports.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to provide a laptop and mobile phone.
- Availability to travel to support suppliers at multiple locations in China, India, Japan, and Vietnam.
- Perform source inspections required by the documentation.
- Ensure parts conform to engineering requirements and documentation.
- Identify and document non-conformances.
- Potentially review First Article Inspections.
- A valid SAE AS13001 training certificate is considered an asset.
