3 automation stocks poised to thrive as rate hikes and inflation pressure margins

Strong demand came from semiconductors, data centres, e-commerce, and warehouse automation sectors. Emerson, with a $90 billion market capitalisation, saw underlying sales rise 6% and adjusted earnings increase 13% in the same period. Its semiconductor sales jumped 70% year over year. Honeywell Technologies recently spun off its aerospace business to focus on industrial and building automation.
