About the job
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in metrology engineering is required.
- Proficiency in Coordinate Measuring Machine programming, Faro arms, and height gages.
- Strong understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Process, and First Article Inspection processes.

- Perform measurements using Coordinate Measuring Machines, Faro arms, and height gages.
- Conduct First Article Inspections and support Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process submissions.
- Apply non-contact measurement systems, including laser scanning, optical imaging, photogrammetry, and radar, for rapid and precise data acquisition.
- Generate and analyze 3D models for dimensional validation using advanced scanning and visualization software.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve metrology-related issues.
- Provide feedback on design or manufacturing improvements based on measurement results.
- Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance records for all measurement equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and company procedures.
- Stay updated with advancements in metrology technologies and industry best practices.
- Experience in automotive or metal-mechanical industries is preferred.
- Experience with 3D scanning, photogrammetry, and data analysis software is a plus.
