Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse/last mile operations, ideally in a high-growth environment.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex problems with a focus on continuous improvement and data-based, analytical decision making.
  • Proven ability to manage distributed operations teams, instilling a culture of accountability and teamwork to achieve a best-in-class member experience.
  • An excellent communicator, adept at building relationships across stakeholder teams.
  • Passionate about sustainability and eager to contribute to solving significant challenges.
  • Self-motivated and capable of driving projects from ideation to implementation.
Responsibilities
  • Optimize and scale Last Mile systems and processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and improve Member satisfaction across our Last Mile delivery and service offerings.
  • Lead and develop Last Mile teams across all markets, overseeing daily operations, hiring, building learning and performance tracking resources, and prioritizing getting all orders delivered safely and efficiently.
  • Drive strategic Last Mile decisions including routing optimization tools, fleet management and market rebalancing processes, while also driving continuous operations improvements to achieve target delivery cost efficiencies.
  • Own Last Mile delivery defects as a key metric, identifying root causes and proposing efficient, scalable solutions that prioritize an accurate and reliable Member experience.
  • Lead by example, jumping in alongside your team to provide necessary support including completing a delivery route or packing orders.

Customers pay a monthly fee to receive a selection of 120 eco-friendly products, including items for the home, pantry, and personal care. The products come in refillable packaging, which are picked up, cleaned, and reused, creating a zero-waste system that reduces reliance on single-use plastics. By partnering with local businesses, The Rounds ensures that many products are sourced locally, such as fresh bread and coffee.
