Requirements

  • Experience working with financial institutions, merchants, processors, fintechs, or co-brand partners.
  • Experience managing creative agencies and third-party vendors to execute marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Tableau, and AI tools.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the day-to-day marketing lead for fintech and enabler clients, building trusted relationships and delivering high-quality client experiences.
  • Partner with Marketing Business Development to transition pitched opportunities into engagements with clear scope, timelines, deliverables, and success measures.
  • Lead client discussions, provide strategic recommendations, and present marketing plans, campaign results, and optimization opportunities.
  • Anticipate client needs, identify growth opportunities, and resolve challenges to drive successful outcomes.
  • Establish credibility with senior client stakeholders while managing complex expectations, competing priorities, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Own the development and execution of marketing projects across acquisition, engagement, loyalty, and retention objectives.
  • Translate complex inputs into actionable marketing strategies, creative briefs, activation plans, and execution roadmaps.
  • Manage a broad portfolio of concurrent marketing engagements while maintaining attention to detail, quality, and accountability.
  • Apply marketing best practices, consumer insights, and performance data to optimize programs and improve results.
  • Coordinate across Business Development, Creative, Media, Analytics, Legal, Finance, Product, agency, and vendor teams to drive alignment, remove barriers, and deliver client commitments.
  • Lead project kickoffs, status meetings, executive reviews, and post-campaign analyses; manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables from initiation through completion.
  • Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans, and communicate proactively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 6 years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree, at least 4 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree such as a Master's, MBA, JD, or MD, or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
  • At least 6 years of business experience, with most of that time spent in a marketing function; previous enabler or fintech experience is a plus.
  • Broad marketing experience across digital, print, lifecycle, sponsorship, experiential, influencer, content, media, customer relationship management, and campaign execution.
  • Strong project management experience leading detailed, cross-functional projects from planning through execution and measurement.
  • Ability to operate with minimal direction and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, including the ability to lead client conversations, present recommendations, and influence stakeholders.
  • Client-oriented approach focused on delivering impactful work that achieves business objectives.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to build relationships, collaborate across internal and external teams, and drive results through influence.
