Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 9 years of related experience, or a master's degree in a related discipline and 7 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud environments following best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration on technology initiatives to strengthen security across systems and operations and ensure alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of complex security events and incidents, including malware outbreaks, unauthorized access attempts, and significant security breaches.
  • Develop and implement incident response strategies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and integrate lessons learned into security policies and controls.
  • Analyze security logs and events from various sources to proactively develop and implement security measures addressing current and emerging threats.
  • Provide leaders with updates on the latest threat landscape and emerging trends, and propose cybersecurity solutions to proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Assess vulnerabilities and recommend solutions to address identified weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to provide guidance and expertise on security best practices and incident response.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies, including SOX and FDA regulatory requirements, by following established procedures and controls.
  • Architect secure cloud infrastructure using guardrails and golden paths with infrastructure-as-code patterns across AWS and Azure.
  • Integrate static application security testing, software composition analysis, dynamic application security testing, and dependency scanning into GitHub pipelines and provide help and support.
Desired Qualifications

The biotech company sells cabozantinib under the brand names Cabometyx and Cometriq. The former - a treatment for kidney, liver and thyroid cancers as well as neuroendocrine tumors - brought in $570.6 million in quarterly sales. Cometriq, which treats a form of thyroid cancer, generated $2.4 million in sales. But analysts called for a healthier $578 million and $3 million in sales, respectively. Biotech's Next Boom? Exelixis' sales disappointment. The sales disappointment led Exelixis to cut its earnings outlook for the year. The company now sees $2.5 billion to $2.55 billion in sales. At the midpoint, that's a drop of $50 million from Exelixis' prior guidance from three months ago. More promisingly, Exelixis topped earnings forecasts, reporting an adjusted 91 cents per share, vs. the Street's forecast for 85 cents, according to FactSet. Earnings grew more than 21% as total sales climbed close to 11%, reaching $627.8 million. That includes sales of Cabometyx and Cometriq, as well as $53.2 million in royalties from partners Ipsen and Takeda Pharmaceutical. But sales lagged projections for $636 million. Investors are now watching closely the next steps for zanzalintinib. The Food and Drug Administration is reviewing the experimental prostate cancer treatment for potential approval in December. Exelixis stock is trading above its key moving averages with a nearly perfect IBD Digital Composite Rating of 98. The CR is a 1-99 measure of a stock's fundamental and technical performance. Exelixis reports Q2 2026 revenues of $628.7M, up 11% on cabozantinib growth

Exelixis reported second quarter 2026 total revenues of $628.7 million, up from $568.3 million in the same period last year. Net product revenues reached $573.0 million, compared to $520.0 million in 2025, driven primarily by increased sales volume. The company reported GAAP net income of $212.1 million, or $0.82 per diluted share, versus $184.8 million, or $0.65 per diluted share, in the prior year period. Research and development expenses increased to $212.0 million from $200.4 million. Exelixis is preparing for a potential launch of zanzalintinib in metastatic colorectal cancer, pending regulatory approval. The FDA assigned a target action date of 3 December 2026 for the new drug application. The company expects topline results from its phase 3 STELLAR-304 trial in the second half of 2026.

Exelixis posts $611M Q1 revenue, FDA accepts colorectal cancer drug application

Exelixis, an oncology-focused biopharmaceutical company, reported total revenues of $610.8 million for Q1 2026, up from $555.4 million in Q1 2025. US net product revenues from its cabozantinib franchise reached $555 million, whilst collaboration revenues rose to $55.8 million. The company achieved GAAP net income of $210.5 million and non-GAAP net income of $232.8 million. The US FDA accepted Exelixis's first NDA for zanzalintinib combined with atezolizumab for previously treated metastatic colorectal cancer, with a target action date of 3 December. The company is progressing multiple zanzalintinib clinical trials, including upcoming data readouts for STELLAR-303 and STELLAR-304 studies. Exelixis expects to complete its $750 million share repurchase programme this month. The Board authorised a new $750 million buyback programme through end-2027.

Exelixis reported first-quarter earnings of $210.5 million, with net income of 79 cents per share. Adjusted earnings reached 87 cents per share, exceeding Wall Street's average estimate of 75 cents per share from seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research. The Alameda, California-based drug developer posted revenue of $610.8 million for the period, slightly below analyst forecasts of $612.6 million. The company has issued full-year revenue guidance of $2.53 billion to $2.63 billion.
