- Systems analysis skills to support and maintain operational systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling and job prioritization for a high-demand 24/7 Business Intelligence organization.
- Provide hardware architectural guidance, plan and estimate cluster capacity, and create roadmaps for Hadoop cluster deployment.
- Evaluate Hadoop infrastructure requirements and design and deploy solutions, including high-availability and big-data clusters.
- Troubleshoot and debug Hadoop ecosystem runtime issues.
- Provide operational support for production systems used by the business for analytics and decision-making.
- Serve as the final tier of escalation support before management involvement.
- Provide architectural, technical, and support leadership to the team.
- SAS 9 implementation, installation, architecture design, and administration experience.
