About the Team:

We’re looking for a motivated Technical Marketing Engineer eager to help us expand Qumulo’s Scale Anywhere offerings This role involves creating impactful demos from high-level requirements and delivering comprehensive end-to-end demonstrations. Prior storage experience isn’t necessary, but a willingness to learn and grow is essential. You will play a key role in engaging customers and showcasing the value of our products.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Technical Experience:

• Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell is preferred.
• Proficient understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure concepts, including AWS or Azure.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing technical landscapes that change the nature of how engineers architect solutions
• Experience in building demos or projects that reflect the desired user experience and value, with a focus on showcasing product technical capabilities and the outcomes they deliver for customers

Content Creation:

• Ability to write about technical solutions and workflows in a clear, accurate, and compelling manner
• Produce technical content, such as blog posts, video tutorials, and presentations
• Updating existing content with newly shipped features or capabilities 
• Enthusiasm for learning content creation skills and contributing to marketing materials.

Technical Market Insight:

• Demonstrates passion and dedication in promoting products with a customer-centric focus — where customer benefit is always top of mind
• Ability to communicate product features and benefits clearly to customers and internal teams.
• Develops an understanding of customer needs and use cases to tailor and present effective technical solutions.
• Communicates complex technical concepts effectively to a diverse audience.
• Capable of analyzing and contrasting alternative technologies, conducting critical and unbiased evaluations.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business/Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in technology, marketing, or a related area 

Key Benefits

The annual pay range for the role is USD $127,000 - $180,000. 

Individual pay depends on various factors, such as role level, relevant experience and skills, and location. Pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the pay range applicable at the time.
