- A registered nurse license in good standing without limitations in the State of Georgia.
- American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse is preferred.
- An additional life support credential such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification, or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units, is preferred.
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units is preferred.
- Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
- Practice within the scope defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
